PROUD TO BE THE GRANDSON, SON AND COUSIN OF THESE GREAT CHEFS! Part 2.

My grandfather René Pauwels owner of Hôtel Petit Rouge, my granduncle Louis Willems owner of Hôtel de la Paix and my granduncle Fritz Capiau owner of the Grand Hôtel Capiau with friends cooks and butchers working for the "Armenkeuken" in 1915 in Blankenberge during World War 1.
 On the right my father Henri Pauwels as a young "Commis de cuisine" +/- 1920.
 Standing on the right my father Henri Pauwels sous-chef on the "SS Belgenland" in 1928 during his World Cruise in his afternoon break on deck in the tropical sun.
 My father Henri Pauwels owner/kitchenchef of Hôtel Petit Rouge
with his sous-chef André Maes in the 60ties.
André Maes was later owner/kitchenchef of "La Grande Marée" and of " 't Schuurke".
 Myself  "Blackbeard" as a member of the kitchenstaff from the "Casino Knokke" during a weekly Friday night dinner in the 80ties.
